Benefit from specialist Surgery Design

In our view a great deal of surgery design, often incorporating ‘L’ shaped cabinetry, leads to mess, clutter and frustration. Ideally a surgery should be designed from the “patient’s mouth outwards” taking into account whether the dentist is right or left handed.

Curved cabinetry is the logical design solution based on this principle, but there are variations and adaptations that a good designer will incorporate to meet specific needs and preferences.

Indeed, surgery design is all about how you and your team like to work. The skill we have at Paradigm is understanding this and translating it into a surgery that enhances your skills (rather than asking you to change the way you work) The key issues we will address with you are:

· minimising clutter

· the benefits of mobile cabinetry

· work flow

· sterilisation

· use of surgery for different applications/specialist treatments

· designing in anticipation of changes and developments in dentistry

· worktop materials

"It is a daily pleasure to see the positive reaction of our patients to our new facility. The intelligent use of space in communal areas was achieved with help from Roger and Gavin’s assistance with surgery design ensures flexibility."
